Since its inception in 2021, TKB Investments has focused on investments in financial technology, innovative enterprises, the medical and sport sector, and commercial real estate. Our team brings more than 20 years of experience in private equity and banking, having worked with leading global investment funds and financial institutions.

Roman Mironchik

Roman Mironchik graduated with First Class Honors in Economics from the London School of Economics in 2004. He began his career at Merrill Lynch in London before moving to Francisco Partners, a US-based tech-focused private equity fund. In 2009, he co-founded Izurium Ventures I LP in London, focusing on equity and credit investments. A notable deal was the 2011 acquisition of Dynacast, a global zinc component manufacturer, which was later sold to Partners Group AG after the company experienced significant growth.

In 2013, Mironchik moved to Moscow. Around the same period, Izurium directed its investments toward the Russian microfinance sector, steadily enhancing its expertise by consolidating multiple market players within the industry.

By 2015, Mironchik co-founded Flybridge Asset Management, a real estate investment fund, which began its operations by acquiring a real estate portfolio from Sponda Plc, a Finnish public investment fund. This portfolio included shopping and business centers. Today, Flybridge Property Management, the management arm of the company, oversees a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, managing both its own assets and those owned by third-party clients.

In 2021, Mironchik partnered with NHL legend Alexander Ovechkin to develop Moscow's first International Hockey Academy for children, set for completion in 2026.

In 2022, Mr. Mironchik established RM Investment in Dubai. The following year, the company acquired a controlling stake in Invitro, a leading private medical firm in Russia focused on laboratory diagnostics and medical services.

Alexander Chepkin

Alexander Chepkin holds MSc in applied mathematics and IT from the Moscow State University. Upon graduating in 2010, he embarked on his career in investment banking at the Moscow office of Renaissance Capital, a leading emerging markets investment bank. During his tenure there, he actively participated in M&A and capital markets transactions across various sectors in Russia and Sub-Saharan Africa.

In 2019, he decided to broaden his experience and joined the Digital Horizon VC fund, which focuses on early-stage investments in Europe, Israel, and the United States. At Digital Horizon, he was responsible for identifying and executing investments in fintech and enterprise software startups, leveraging his expertise to support innovative ventures in their early growth stages.

Following his tenure at Digital Horizon, Alexander moved to the Russian sovereign wealth fund (RDIF), where he has been concentrating on investments in real assets. His work at RDIF has involved significant deals in renewable energy projects in collaboration with Fortum, a Finnish energy company, as well as commercial real estate projects in partnership with Mubadala.

Alexander has also successfully completed all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program and is participating in the Executive MBA program from the esteemed University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
